Our more than 40 thousand producers spread all over Turkey have a major share in our being one of the largest manufacturers in the world. Currently, one third of our manufacturers are export-oriented and they are constantly improving both product quality and designs. There are 4 countries in the world that can produce in every field with product diversity. These are the USA, China, Italy and Türkiye. We are the least polluting sector, we prioritize zero carbon emissions. In addition, we have a structure that cares about its workers, provides employment and distributes income equally, thus providing significant support to local development.

Turkish furniture manufacturers have a broad perception of design. They have a production capacity that can accompany every style. We have a system that hosts baroque, avant-garde, modern, ethnic, rustic and many other styles.
The furniture, paper and forest products sector has achieved significant success in the last 14 years and has increased the support it offers to the Turkish economy through exports.
In 2008, the sector's exports figure were 2.6 billion dollars and its share in Turkey's total exports was 1.9%. In 2010, the figure increased to 2.9 billion dollars and its share in total exports increased to 2.57%. The furniture, paper and forest products industry, which achieved exports of 8.4 billion dollars in 2022, set its 2028 target as 20 billion dollars.
The eight-month total exports of the sector, which sends furniture to 200 countries, were announced as 3 billion dollars.
Turkish furniture industry exported 392 million dollars in August. The biggest increase in furniture exports on a monthly basis was experienced in the Saudi Arabian markets with 1200 percent and the Romanian markets with 14.30 percent.

Türkiye EXPORT-2022/2023
In 2003, Turkey's furniture exports were around 400 million dollars and its share in the world was 5 per thousand. In 2022, exports increased to 5.3 billion dollars and its share in the world increased to 1.7 percent. This has been recorded as Turkey's highest share in the world furniture market so far.
